About Me
I was born in Kazakhstan and grew up in the capital city, Astana.
At the age of 18, I decided to challenge myself by studying in the United States.
The struggle of adapting to a new culture, learning a new language, and entering adulthood has profoundly changed me. I learned to embrace hard work, build connections, and take on responsibilities, along with stepping out of my comfort zone. Making mistakes and facing failures not only made me stronger but also motivated me to achieve bigger goals.
Creative Journey
I developed a strong interest in graphic design during my high school years. In 2018, I attended a computer design academy where I learned about creating brand identities, product design, and magazines. After completing the academy, I worked on various freelance projects, creating logos, posters, and song covers for clients from Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Russia.
I continued pursuing my graphic design career after moving to the United States and enrolling at Lane Community College. However, after familiarizing myself with the world of video, I decided to change my major to Multimedia Design. Over the course of three years, I learned about video production, audio production, and animation.
Through exploring various time-based software, I discovered my passion for filmmaking. I truly enjoy using my diverse skills and unique vision to tell stories. My abilities in all aspects of filmmaking enable me to create impactful work and elevate the viewer's experience to a new level.
I am dedicated to enhancing my skills and pushing creative limits through engaging, problem-solving and innovative experimentation.
